Mary's Spring Break

Hey all,
Maria and Mary just spent the last week here in our valley. While Maria was taking care of some business, Kent and I had the great privilege to do some running around with Mary. I am hoping and imagining that Mary had a good time. But I doubt Mary can imagine how much fun we had! Very rarely do we take time off of work to indulge in the activities that we enjoy here in Cache Valley, but we took the occasion to do just that, and we have Mary to credit. In addition, Mary is a fantastic running-around buddy! It could not have been better! So thank you Mary! Last week ranks as one of the best weeks ever:)

First picture: Here are Kent and Mary, fishing Spring Hollow at Third Dam on the Logan River. As it turned out, it was not much of a day for fishing. The weather was cold and drizzly, and no fish were caught. Kent was really disappointed that they couldn't land anything, but other than that, he had the time of his life!
Second picture: Mary and I skiing. Mary skied for three days while she was here. The first day we bought her an all day pass for the bunny slope. Before noon, we upgraded to the all area pass. The second day skiing, Mary conquered a black diamond, the Grand Canyon. The third day on the slopes, Mary was zipping around like it was nobody's business, and taking little pop ups, getting about a foot of air.
Third picture: The sisters. Maria, you impressed me. I can see where Mary gets her fortitude. I hope you are enjoying the day-after soreness:)

Maybe we wouldn't enjoy it as much if we got to do that more often, who knows. But maybe I'd be willing to find out, if we got the chance. We had a heck of a lot of fun.
